Am I the ONLY one who takes offense to this?  Really how did they get this off? A more important question is who is giving them business? We have come far but I see more and more with my own eyes we have a lot further to go!

Check out this scenario…
Girl One: “Girl where do you get your hair done?”
Girl Two: “Bich Nga”
Girl One: “What you call me?”

It’s all bad from there. You get my point? You see the turn for the worse right there. Titles and names mean so much. Everyone wants to be a wife not a baby momma. Changing your last name as a woman wouldn’t mean so much to a man when you get married if names were not important. People spend 9 months trying to pick a name when a woman is carrying a child. Cities have to often approve signs that are put up before a company can go in business. Right there what does that tell you? If the sign could possibly offend another race but African American (as they like to call us) would it still be allowed to stand up? I get it this is someone's name but often times when Asian decent people come to the United States they have American names that they chose to go by so why this? Why now?

We always complain to each other but what do we do to make a change?

  1. Well said and your point of view in this matter is right on point. That sign is racist in many ways and has no business being up there....

  2. So you really think thats racist huh? Don't you see the hash mark on top of the "I". Last time I checked, bich is not pronounced the same way BITCH is. And as far as NGA, there are millions of vietnamese women with this first name. I really question your education level and your common sense if you really think that Bich Nga is really pronounced BITCH NIGGA.

  4. Now I remember you. I used to grow up watching you on tv. This post makes you sound ridiculous and really takes away from you trying to be a legit author. Not to mention the comment you made to TMZ about wanting to do playboy. You should be thinking about how people perceive YOU because of that instead of trying to get people to think that a common vietnamese name is a racist slur to black people.

  5. Before painting any surface on your home, you must make sure that the area is clean, dry and smooth and it must also be coated with the correct primer. The right primer is the key to beautiful, long lasting and great looking finishing coat.

  6. YOU ARE THE ONE THAT IS RACIST. When this Vietnamese name is pronounced CORRECTLY it sounds nothing like "Bitch Nigga". Why would you expect someone in Vietnam, where they speak vietnamese rather than english, to know anything about slang in the U.S.? Are they supposed to investigate every language in the world so that they'll know what names might be offensive in another language before they name their kid? For all you know, your name could sound incredibly offensive in Cantonese or something. It's super ethnocentric for you to assume that it's every other nation's job to make their language sound better in English.

  7. Every comment here made me cringe. Americans are racist fools. The education levels with many of you need help. English is spelled with a capital 'C'.

As for the Vietnamese sign, it is not racist. It is a name from Vietnam.

Every problem in today's world has been caused by Americans or the USA directly. If you want the world to be a better place, stop being Americans and start being humans.
